Bronze Scallops

The initial shell was found on a tiny isle near the shores of Okinawa in the East-China sea. It was reproduced in fine porcelain preserving each tiny grid and detail that was once given to it by the primary mollusc sculptor.

Two hoop earrings and a chain necklace were born as a result of this process. Each tiny scallop shell was individually sculpted, glazed by hand and fired in ceramics kiln.  You can choose to order them separately, or as a set. The earrings are finished with gun metal (dark coloured) hoops. The necklace can be ordered in one of two variants - with copper-coloured  alternating link chain (show on photos) or with thin dark metal chain (more minimalist, matching with hoop colour).

Every item from my shop will be sent to you in a handmade, individually designed box with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or someone special (no price information is included in the packaging).

I do my best to ensure the photos are as true to the original as possible. However, depending on the light, the colors may appear slightly different from the original. The listed price is for one pair of festive earrings; the shell and cloud earrings are not included in this listing.
