Kategorie: La Grande Lessive

Inspired by La Grande Lessive, a French spring event where children’s artworks are clipped onto lines outdoors and displayed like laundry drying in the sun — a temporary open-air exhibition. Here, that idea is taken quite literally: a line of freshly washed things, turned into an art piece you can wear. Because it sits somewhere between everyday laundry and a small, slightly absurd composition, it’s meant to catch the eye, feel a bit unexpected, and make people smile.

Everything is clean, white, and bright — like a sunny day when fabric dries in a blink of an eye and feels light again. There’s a sense of ease, of things reset and ready to start over. Each element was sculpted by hand from fine porcelain, fired at high temperatures to vitrified state. Some pieces are shaped extremely thin, allowing light to pass through and giving them a soft translucency.
