Large pendant with raised snow-white seashell relief made of porcelain.

The seashell was moulded from a tiny wenteltrap shell collected on Okinawa Island of Japan. The original wentletrap shell is also white and has a porcelain-like appearance. These shells are notable for their intricately geometric shell architecture, the word wentletrap originated in Dutch (wentletrap), and it means spiral staircase. Wentletraps are also sometimes called "staircase shells".

The pendant was hand-sculpted from porcelain, hand-glazed and fired in the kiln twice at high temperatures. The diameter of the porcelain piece is about 1,5 inches. It rests on an antique-coloured chain of 22-inch length. This pendant exists in a single version and represents a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery.
