Blurring the boundaries between the natural and the made, the purposeful and the incidental. A geometric shelf, a vessel for curiosities, where the distinction between container and content begins to dissolve. Embedded within its planes are porcelain shells, moulded from real finds, occupying some spaces as if already collected. If real shells are placed among them, as part of the display, it invites a confusion, provoking the viewer to question what is collected and what is inherent, what is real and what is replication.
The shelf becomes its own curiosity — a contemporary trompe l'oeil that invites touch, attention, and reflection. It is not merely a static object but a puzzle, encouraging interaction, interpretation, and a slowing down of the gaze. The found becomes the foundational; the past, a platform for the future. This object explores the potential of craft as a keeper of memory and material intelligence, but also as a medium for disorientation, intimacy, and rediscovery. The listing price is for one white porcelain shelf. It can be used in a standing position or hanging on the wall. Other objects shown in the photos are not included.
