St Malo Tide / Ceramic Pendant

White and blue Delft-style ceramic pendant with algae imprint.

The relief on both sides of the pendant was created using a dried branch of marine algae collected on the shore near the fort of Saint-Malo in Brittany, France.

The ceramic piece was hand-made and hand-glazed. It was fired in a kiln at least twice at different temperatures to achieve its final look. The central piece is resting on a thin copper-colored Japanese chain. This piece is unique and exists in a single version only.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging supplied with a description tag. It is hence ready to be gifted either to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included inside the packaging).

I do my best to make photographs as faithful as possible. However, depending on the light, the hues may appear slightly different from the original.
