Shifter / Porcelaine Necklace

Glazed in green, glazed in blue,
A creature moves where silence grew.
Neither shell nor fish nor flame—
A shape the ocean never named.

It curls, it leans, it nearly flies,
Like thought or breath or shifting skies.
With crackled light upon its skin,
It wears the world it wanders in.

A mollusc made of glaze and guess—
A slow bloom in the sea’s caress.

Magical relief porcelain necklace based on the original graphic illustration inspired by sea life.

This necklace was created using a fusion of digital illustration transformed into relief on hand-sculpted fine porcelain. The main piece is made of vitrified Ming Po porcelain (not plastic or "cold porcelain"). It was handmade, hand-glazed and fired in a kiln at high temperatures.

The illustration was inspired by ocean-dwelling creatures such as ancient ammonites and modern nautilus molluscs. The necklace is finished with an antique filigree high-quality metal chain from Japan.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included within the packaging).
