Shell Pleatings / Black Clay Ceramic Earrings

Long maritime earrings made of black ceramic clay.

The relief structure of these earrings was created with a combination of moldings based on a real seashell, which was collected on Okinawa island in Japan. The ceramic pieces were hand-sculpted and finished with a layered combination of ceramic glazes. Each ceramic piece was fired in a kiln at different temperatures to achieve its final look.

The earrings are completely handmade and hand-glazed. They were produced in a single version only and represent a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging supplied with a description tag. It is hence ready to be gifted either to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included inside the packaging).
