Scallop Nest / Porcelain Necklace

Organic-shaped necklace with scallop shell relief.

The shell in its hand-sculpted pool frame are made of vitrified porcelain. The relief was moulded from an actual small scallop seashell collected on the beach in Brittany, France. The porcelain piece was fired at high temperature in ceramics kiln to achieve the vitrified state. The shell relief seemingly floats in the pool filled with ceramic glaze.

The pendant is suspended on a faux-leather cord necklace accented with one artisan glass bead.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or someone special (no pricing information is included within the packaging).

I do my best to make photographs as faithful as possible. However, depending on the light, the hues may appear slightly different from the original. The listing price is for two seashell earrings, cloud earrings are sold separately.
