Ethereal porcelain seashell necklace.

Moulded from a real shell found on the shores of Okinawa Island, this porcelain necklace captures the fragile geometry of the original form while translating it into something durable and wearable.

The shell is cast in very thin porcelain, revealing its striking translucency in vitrified state upon high-temperature kiln firing. The surface retains all the fine, narrow ribs of the original shell, each one carefully reproduced in porcelain down to the smallest detail. A turquoise glaze covers the form, scattered with deeper blue spots, like the shadows of tiny bright-blue fish slipping over sand and coral in shallow water. Fired to a high temperature, the porcelain remains lightweight yet strong.

The pendant hangs from a golden-coloured chain that adds warmth and contrast to the cool glaze tones, giving the piece a balanced presence between sea and metal.
