Patina Shells / Porcelain Earrings and Pendant

A pair of long porcelain earrings, each composed of two spheres, and a matching spherical pendant. The surfaces of all pieces are adorned with tiny seashell reliefs, cast from real shells gathered on Okinawa Island. This process preserves the authentic form of the shells while transforming them into permanent porcelain echoes of the shore.

The spheres are glazed in a deep green patina, with subtle yellow and brown accents tracing the contours of the reliefs, lending them an earthy luminosity that is both simple and wild. The tiny imperfections and natural variations in the reliefs evoke the rhythms of the natural world, hinting at erosion, tides, and organic processes that shape life along the coast. It is both natural and imagined, a tiny story of transformation and memory.

Each piece is hand-shaped, glazed, and fired at high temperatures to achieve the subtle translucency unique to porcelain, capturing shadow, light, and the quiet poetry of surfaces touched by time. These items can be ordered separately or as a set. They will arrive carefully wrapped in custom packaging with a descriptive tag—ready to gift to someone else or keep as a small treasure for yourself (no price information is included inside the parcel).
