Raku, a firing process that originated in Kyoto in the 16th century for the tea ceremony, involves firing at a low temperature and then removing the still-red piece from the kiln, causing thermal shocks that create the crackle in the glaze, before smoking in combustible materials which blackens the clay and accentuates the cracks. Each piece in Mini Raku collection was hand-sculpted from Ming Po porcelain and fired according to this technique. Each one carries its own moment: crackle, smoke, the sharp, unpredictable lines that only Raku firing can produce. Gold-gilded for an extra glow inside tiny windows and pyramid edges.
There are three separate items available, each with its own function: house brooch, pyramid earrings, and a house pendant. To order multiple versions add each into your cart individually.
