Meteor Shower / Okinawan seashell and sand earrings

For the summer nights, when it’s best to stay under the stars and watch the meteors passing by. A pair of long dangling earrings featuring real sea treasures from Okinawa and Iriomote islands, Japan.

These earrings contain tiny white seashell and foraminifera sand grains in the shape of tiny stars. Star-shaped sand is an Okinawan specialty. It is produced by calcifying marine microorganisms and brought to the shore by typhoon tropical storms. The shell and the sand grains were picked by hand at the beaches of Okinawa and the Iriomote islands.

These earrings are handmade and produced in a smoke-free home. Each item in my shop exists in a SINGLE VERSION ONLY - there is no other one like it neither in my stocks nor anywhere else in the world. By purchasing this item you become a sole owner of a unique and one-of-a-kind piece.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in an individually designed handmade box supplied with a description tag. It is hence ready to be gifted either to yourself or to someone very special (no pricing information is included inside the packaging).
