Minuscule porcelain boxes crowned with delicate seashell reliefs, each impression taken from a real shell collected in Japan. The relief may appear on the lid’s surface or hidden inside, like a secret echo of the sea. Every piece is entirely hand-sculpted in fine porcelain, making each box one of a kind.
Inside, the chamber measures just 1 cm across and deep—enough to cradle only the most delicate keepsakes. A baby’s first tooth, a pearl, a gemstone, a pressed flower petal, a grain of sea glass, or even a tiny rolled note can rest safely within.
In a miniature interior of a dollhouse setting, these boxes can become tiny heirlooms of the sea—scaled-down treasures that carry the ocean’s presence into a small imagined world. Placed on a dressing table, tucked into a cabinet, or resting on a bedside stand, they suggest a life lived near the shore, where shells are gathered and memories are kept. As porcelain curiosities, they bring both authenticity and a quiet maritime poetry to a dollhouse scene.

Each box is both sculpture and container, merging the permanence of porcelain with the fleeting fragility of memory. Enamelled by hand and fired in a kiln thrice at different temperatures to its final look, each box exists in a single version.
There are eight boxes in total: one in turquoise, four in patina green and three in vibrant red glaze. You can order the whole set for a bundle price, or choose one or several boxes of particular design (please, use "Order special instructions" box inside your cart to specify your choice).
The basic listing price is for one box of your choice. Other items shown in photos are not included.
Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or someone special (no pricing information is included in the packaging).
