Fraises Des Bois / Porcelain Earrings and Necklace

Wild strawberries — known in French as fraises des bois — are the exact opposite of the big, bland supermarket kind. They’re tiny, only around for a short time, and packed with intense flavour.

These porcelain versions of the wild berries is even smaller than their living prototypes. They are sculpted in vitrified porcelain, each miniature seed carved by hand. The porcelain pieces were glazed and fired in a kiln at 1265 C to achieve classic glass-like surface with a quiet, inner resilience.

The earrings are finished with gold-plated ear-wire findings (real gold plating).

These pieces were produced in a single version and represent unique statement jewellery items.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included within the packaging).

I do my best to make photographs as faithful as possible. However, depending on the light, the hues may appear slightly different from the original. The listing price is for one earrings pair, other items are sold separately.
