Earth / Red Ceramics Tea Cup

Low, wide tea cup thrown from red ceramic clay, with a fine, thin rim that gives the piece a light, precise feel despite the earthy body. Its shallow form allows heat to dissipate quickly, making it well suited to delicate teas whose aromas open as the surface cools.

Simple botanical shapes form a relief along the sides, selectively accented with white glaze that settles into the contours and sharpens the contrast with the warm clay beneath.

This cup is entirely handmade and hand-glazed, produced in a single version only. This listing price is for one cup, the coaster is not included.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is hence ready to be gifted either to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included inside the packaging).
