Butterfly Dream Brooch / Seashells and Seaweed from Scotland

Once upon a time, there lived a little creature. It did look more like a frog, but it perceived itself as a butterfly. The little creature sat on the most beautiful flowers pretending their petals to be the wings because that's what it thought of being a butterfly - sitting in a still and picturesque way. Meanwhile, a tiny bivalve seashell had a completely different view - being a butterfly was all about floating in the air and being free. So, eventually, the seashell turned into a flying pair of black pearly wings...

Butterfly Dream brooch was made with a real tiny mussel seashell and sea-polished stones from the shores of the North Sea. Each bit was picked by hand from the East Coast of Scotland. The whimsical background scenery was created from a print of my original liner and watercolour fairytale illustration.

Completely handmade and produced in a smoke-free home. 

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or to someone special (no pricing information is included within the packaging).
