Brachyura / Porcelain Earrings and Necklace

This porcelain jewelry set is all about crabs. Each piece is hand-sculpted from strong porcelain, fired hot so it’s tough and smooth. The surface carries old scientific crab drawings, transferred with cobalt oxide that burns into a deep sea-blue. It’s simple, playful, and a little quirky—like a mix of a sailor’s sketchbook and a natural history museum, shrunk down into jewellery you can actually wear.

The necklace rests on a blue fabric cord about 16 inches long finished with oyster shell charm at the clasp end. The indicated price includes earrings and pendant.

The porcelain pieces were hand-sculpted and hand-glazed. Each was fired in a kiln at different temperatures to achieve its final look. They were produced in a single version and represent a unique piece of jewellery.

Each item from my shop will be sent to you in individually designed handmade packaging with a description tag. It is ready to be gifted to yourself or someone special (no pricing information is included in the packaging).
