One of these illustrations — of the ammonite genus Deroceras (known as Eoderoceras in current taxonomy) — celebrates both the refined beauty of scientific drawing and the graceful forms of these Early Jurassic creatures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis listing is for porcelain necklace with archival scientific illustration. The main piece was hand-sculpted vitrified porcelain, fired in a kiln at high tempreature. The surface carries illustration of Derocers (Eoderoceras) ammonite from 1903 scientific publication, transferred with manganese oxide.
